RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking a Remote Lead SDET for a client in San Francisco, CA.
Summary:The Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will lead complex projects, propose novel ideas and perspectives, and who is always looking for a better way of doing things. The QA team at works on web UI, API, and load testing automation. Currently, it is leading an ambitious project to create a group of light-weight and efficient libraries to be used in diverse projects, like automation frameworks, or a tool to easily provide complex and realistic datasets as if they were generated by real users of our own systems.What You'll Do: Within the first two weeks: You will understand the product In the first month: You will study and understand how the existing QA automation solutions work In the second month: You will take the lead of the QA team and its software engineering efforts, under the supervision of the QA Manager, ensuring the continuity and development of all projects By the sixth month: You will have planned and kick-started new projects to further improve the reach and impact of the QA team Possible project focus areas are: Data provisioning, API automation, native mobile automation, web automation, load testing, security testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoringREQUIREMENTS: Professional QA experience successfully leading the technical QA efforts of multiple concurrent projects Quick learner when it comes to new technologies Able to independently create projects from scratch in languages like Java, Kotlin, Scala, Swift, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go Proficient at and enthusiastic about both UI and API automation, with tools like Selenium, WebDriverIO, Espresso, XCUITest, EarlGrey, OkHttp, Retrofit, or Gatling Great communication and planning skills to facilitate collaboration and results among cross-functional teams Good understanding of how cloud infrastructure works Familiar with CI/CD tools Knowledge of container technologyKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
