Job Description Established tech company based in San Francisco, CA. This company works to build and maintain the platform that the rest of Square uses to test their software on physical products. Hiring for a Tooling/ Automation Engineer to join the team.
100% Remote 3 Month contract that is expected to be extended or converted to FTE Required Skills & Experience- 4 Years of Python Software Engineering experience
- Experience in automation space and built automation tools before
- Experience with automated hardware testing
- Experience with shell scripting in Ubuntu Linux
- Primary Project - Entire lab environment is 1 entire server connected to 1 DUD. Servers and rack space are expensive. Want to build a POC to create a 1 to N ratio where we can have at least 2 DUDs running concurrently on a server
- Secondary Project - Developing a Tool for taking nodes that have gone down and offline and creating a process of validating them and bringing them back to the end use state.
