If so, read on!The Business Planning organization leads Microsoft’s commercial business’s pricing, packaging, licensing, channel, and monetization strategies. Our channels GTM strategy team’s charter within Business Planning is to create scalable, cloud first and competitive channels go to market strategy to make it easy for our partners and customers to buy from Microsoft. Through our efforts we aspire to continue creating clarity on our "where to buy” vision to enable customers to choose the right GTM channels, consolidate and streamline our legacy breadth of licensing programs to simplify purchasing processes, and drive differentiated strategies to make Microsoft the preferred solutions provider for partners and their customers.As a Senior Business Planner, you will have the opportunity to create and drive strategy for how we bring our entire per-user portfolio of products, which includes modern workplace and business applications, to market at scale through our channels. You’ll partner closely with engineering, finance, marketing, and sales teams to gather feedback, implement and execute our collective vision, as well as to cultivate long term business model vision.You will be seen as a trusted advisor and a subject matter expert for driving per-user strategy by various teams within the company. You’ll make strategic business cases to bring our vision to fruition and present to senior leadership across the segments to build consensus and gain approvals. ResponsibilitiesHow you can make an impact:Design GTM strategies for per-user portfolio of products to enable successful landing of business models and commerce initiatives.

Partner across business planning, sales teams, and partner organization to gain deep understanding of our partner’s needs.

Build partner centric business design and business cases to build a differentiated channel strategy.

Partner closely with commerce engineering teams to bring technical and platform capabilities to market that can create first-class customer and seller experiences.

Conduct external and internal research to gain new perspectives and validate ideas.

Engage directly with customers, analysts, partners, and field sales teams to socialize thinking, build consensus and gather insights to improve GTM strategy and approaches.

Create GTM action plans to bring business models to our customers and partners.

Build business cases for identified needs and socialize with senior leadership members across teams to drive alignment.

Design transition paths for customers from legacy breadth business programs to new offers and sales motions.

Drive quantitative and qualitative impact assessments for strategic initiatives, identify opportunities & risks and monitor progress, partnering with Finance, sales and engineering.

Lead with trust and inclusion, value diverse perspectives and ideas.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications:At least 5+ years product/program management, business planning, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, field/partner/sales experience or related experience

OR equivalent experience

At least 2+ years B2B channel/partner experience

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:At least 8+ years product/program management, business planning, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, field/partner/sales experience or related experience, AND Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related field

OR at least 6+ years product/program management, business planning, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, field/partner/sales experience or related experience or related experience AND Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), or related field

OR equivalent experience

At least 3+ years of technology industry experience

Strong partner experience is preferred

Experience in developing business strategies through sound business judgement, collaboration, data benchmarking and validation through research and testing

Track record of strategic thinking and problem solving from conceptualization to implementation

Proven ability to drive results, gather insights and self-start initiatives to enable business goals

A strong track record of working across diverse senior stakeholders to define and execute strategic initiatives with passion, precision, and excellence

Ability to build and drive financial analysis to evaluate opportunities and quantify potential impact, synthesizing data from multiple sources

Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must to drive projects and build executive buy-in and support for key projects

Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs
