Job Title: Senior Accountant/ Senior Revenue Accountant Primary Skills: Senior Accountant ,ASC 606, Netsuite Location: San Francisco, California, Duration : 3+ Months Job Description: 3Months contract to start; bright chances to get extended We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team and support our growth. You will assist the team by improving processes to meet our operational and reporting requirements to help scale and shape our business. This position, which reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager, will work on several accounting responsibilities, including processing invoices, preparing monthly journal entries and participating in the month-end close process. What you'll do:
- Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations, focusing on revenue recognition
- Perform month end close to ensure accurate financial information is available
- Perform monthly customer billing and reporting Service level agreement results
- Help develop new revenue/billing processes to support growth
- Collaborate with other teams and respond to client billing inquiries
- Manage other GL functions, such as leases and capitalized software
- Document accounting policies that meet annual audit requirements
- Help with the year-end audit and regulatory filings
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting)
- Understanding of GAAP
- Experience with ASC 606
- Looking for a senior with closer to 7-10 years of accounting experience
- Experience at a growth company, public company or Big 4
- Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) experience
- Experience with Netsuite
- CPA or relevant license
