Sr. Data Operations Engineer (remote) Anywhere, US Direct Hire Pay Range: $165K + Bonus Job Description: Our client is rapidly growing and with that looking for a Sr. Data Operations Engineer to help build and maintain a healthy and large-scale data pipeline. The responsibilities of Senior Data Operations Engineer are to manage data pipelines for ETL processes and administer related databases and data warehouses, disaster recovery, database performance. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated who is passionate to learn new technologies and apply them to build highly scalable and reliable data pipelines. Expertise managing data pipelines in production including Snowflake adoption, data loading issues, ETL pipeline for scalable operations, and performance tuning is ideal! Required Skills:- 5+ years of experience in managing data warehouse, databases in clouded environment
- 3+ years of recent experience in ETL tools (eg. CopyStorm, Apache Gobblin)
- Strong experience in supporting data operation in public cloud providers in AWS
- Experience in supporting and managing Snowflake
- Experience in managing production environments and managing enterprise data lakes in the cloud environment
- Understand database design, caching, scalability, and disaster recovery
- Experience in CI/CD tools
- A history of working with cloud-based data platforms
- Strong operational background with experience building and supporting always-on production data platforms
- AWS-based Database services
- Database Performance, logging, data security and compliance best practices
