We are currently seeking a Senior .Net Developer w/ AWS experience to join our STAR (Statistics and Reserves) team. In this role you will develop software solutions to business problems through sound technical methods and techniques.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Typically 5+ years of application programming and analysis experience.
  • Lead in project planning processes within own functional area.
  • May develop work plan timelines and manage workflows to meet project timeframes.
  • Plans and schedules the installation and deployment of new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment.
  • Reviews checklists and scripts and updates as needed.
  • Ensures all applications are documented according to standards.
  • Evaluates new application packages and tools and performs research on best practices.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members with respect to their area of expertise.
  • Works on major projects as a project team member, sometimes as a project lead.
  • Works on projects that may span a broad range of applications.
  • Supports multiple applications.

TYPICAL TRAINING/TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identifying and understanding requirements, and developing alternate solutions.
  • Expertise in multiple technical environments and possesses business knowledge that spans one or more business areas.
  • .Net programming experience.
  • Experience with migrating projects to AWS or building new application systems in AWS.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Understanding of DevOps concepts and processes.
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) a plus.
  • Experience with AzureDevOps & GitLab a plus.
  • Experience with Nuget/Nexus a plus.
  • Experience with Nunit Tests a plus.
