Systems Engineer (Building Management Systems) - Remote / Telecommute for our client in San Francisco, CA Job Title: Systems Engineer (Building Management Systems) - Remote / Telecommute Job Location: San Francisco, CA Job Type: Contract Job Description:- We are looking for Systems Engineer who has at least 4+ years of experience working on any of the Building Management Systems applications / software’s.
- Assists with commissioning, troubleshooting and startup of new Building Automation and Energy Management Systems (BMS) applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues, software and hardware installation of any BMS applications including back bone infrastructure and network communication issues
- Hands on experience working on DDC-Direct digital controller, Sensors and Actuators.
- Experience on Networking protocols viz.
- TCP/IP– Transfer control protocols/Internet Protocol.
- BACnet– Building automation controller network-ASHRAE.
- Modbus and LAN.
- Knowledge of Unix / Linux and Windows system administration.
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
- A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
- Streamline and develop software code, graphics and drivers for graphic front end, human machine interface and page development.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve software issues on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems.
- Diagnose communication problems with control devices and other components.
- Perform software preventative maintenance on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems.
- Perform implementing software patches and updating antivirus solutions.
