Title: Senior Designer | UX/UI Designer II Location: 333 Bryant Street Suite 160 San Francisco California USA 94107 Duration: 12+ months Description: Senior Designer | UX/UI Designer II Digital Experience Design (DXD) Candidate Profile You are focused and enthusiastic with both the visual and analytical understanding that by taking a complicated problem you are able to transform it into a creative force. You are completely comfortable working with an agile engineering team as well as being an advocate for UX best practices. You apply design thinking and craft creative solutions to products being developed. Your strengths span from user research and user experience to visual design and project coordination. You have strong experience working in a highly collaborative, startup-style, iterative digital product development team, side by side with engineers and the product team You are an experienced people-centered designer able to clearly articulate your reasonings and rationales. With your finely-honed skill set combining design research and strategy, organization design and development, and experience in engaging with complex systems, you successfully improve the end-to-end experience. You are meticulous with design systems and interaction pattern libraries and create rigor around maintaining and expanding those systems and libraries to consistently be at the forefront of intuitive design solutions. You are a self-starter and inspire with fresh ideas and new creative problem-solving approaches. You think big and love to elevate the diverse expertise and experience of other team members to bring those new ideas to life. You have a high level of purpose and will only deliver excellence in the quality of collaboration and work deliverables. Primary Responsibilities o You will be hands-on developing objectives and success criteria for initiatives, and align on processes and respective roles and responsibilities o You will closely collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the business development team to identify opportunities and white-space in the health technology marketplace o You're comfortable drafting user flows and wireframes, turning wireframes into elegant visual UIs that delight and inspire users o Through multiple channels of collaboration, you will help create cohesive brand experiences and best practices across touchpoints, meeting specifications and proscribed budgets and timelines o You will maintain project schedules and identify opportunities for increased efficacy of design projects o You'll further review existing knowledge including previous workshop outputs and synthesize into critical content to visualize o You will define, negotiate, communicate, implement, vet and monitor quality standards for all project deliverables executed by the team o Through Identifying gaps and unmet needs, you will define and prioritize opportunities o You will work with the design, development and business teams to brainstorm potential and varying solutions to address customer needs with incumbent and appropriate timelines as necessary. o You will further maintain and develop business partner relationships Qualifications o Bachelor's degree is required; degree in Computer science, Graphic design, Visual design, Web programming, Information architecture, UI design or related field is preferred o 4 7 year's relative experience in designing delightful consumer-facing digital solutions (web and mobile app). Experience designing non-visual user experiences (e.g. Alexa skills) would be a plus. o Deep experience designing transformative solutions through excellent interaction design, including animations and transitions for mobile apps o Familiarity with best practices in digital development, including accessibility, usability, and design o Proven track-record in leading participatory design and organization develop programs, engaging multiple stakeholders in a complex system in developing the change they envision o Effective management of team and stakeholders against agreed-upon goals/deliverables, roles and responsibilities and timelines o Familiarity with, and ability to deploy various User Research methods to garner user insights o Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD and Sketch, with a willingness to explore new tools o Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of digital technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, native iOS and Android, and an understanding of the technical implications of the team's design recommendations o Strong written and verbal communications skills.
