Piper Companies is seeking a
Senior Validation Project Manager to join an industry leading validation services company for the biotechnology industry based in San Francisco, CA. The Senior Validation Project Manager will manage the day-to-day operations for all start up, commissioning, and qualifications/ validations activities and staff for all projects. Responsibilities of the Senior Validation Project Managert:- Responsible for overall delivery and performance (Quality, Budget, and Schedule)
- Work with the Director of Operations and/or project directors to produce documents, estimates, and proposals for prospective projects
- Defines all client's start-up, commissioning, and qualification/validation requirements and project constraints including budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Support Management activities for company growth and infrastructure
- Support Marketing and Business Development initiatives on a needs basis
- Actively pursue new opportunities at assigned project/client site(s)
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or a related Science. An advanced degree (Master's or PhD) or MBA degree is preferred.
- Software Proficiency: MSMS Office (word, excel, power point), MS Outlook, project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.). Working knowledge and understanding of database program (MS Access) required.
- 10+ years experience in the Pharm/Biotech industry
- 10 + years of technical experience in commissioning & qualification/ validation
- 7+ years of managerial experience
- Salary Range: $143k - 170k depending on Experience Performance Bonus (10-15%)
