For our client, we are looking for a
Manufacturing Test Automation Engineer Lead, on a Contract - to - hire base, with a 6-9 months contract.We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Test Automation Engineer Lead to develop software for the manufacturing of our electro/mechanical LIDAR sensor. The position requires a detailed oriented developer with Python experience to support our manufacturing team and our contract manufacturers. Experience in high-volume manufacturing of electro/mechanical systems is highly desirable.Responsibilities:Develop test automation scripts in Python for manufacturing of the LIDAR sensors.Support the manufacturing team at CM.Improve and document manufacturing processes.Setup, configure, and maintain software test labs and test environments.Qualifications:B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent experience.Good knowledge of OO programming concepts.10 + years of experience with Python is a must.Strong demonstrated leadership skillsGUI development.Working knowledge of SQL.Should have good knowledge on Linux & Windows OS.Experience interfacing with electronic test equipment.Professional experience in test automation design and implementation.Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills, and athorough approach to problem solving. Fast learner, solid problem solver, with great testing anddebugging skills.Working knowledge of statistics for process control.Nice to have:Experience with optics and lasers.Mechatronics backgroundOpenCVVacancy expired!
