This specific division develops products that are at the forefront of innovation with streaming video technology.The company will pay a salary up to $110k, plus yearly bonuses up to 10% of salary. Job Responsibilities:- Reporting to the Head of Backend Engineering who is also a Product Manager, and also reporting to other Product Managers for the various products you'll be working on.- 100% manual testing / blackbox QA.- About 50% of the time will be doing QA on the web side, on a video editor and online streaming tool.- About 50% of the time will be doing QA on a mobile application for streaming video.- Testing the products, reporting bugs. Communicating with the product team, support team, and development team.- Ensuring the products are meeting the expectations of their users on stability and performance.- Executing test cases and tracking your results. Qualifications:- At least 3 years of recent professional experience in Quality Assurance Engineering, doing manual testing to evaluate performance and stability of applications.- Experience doing manual testing for either web or mobile software products (both would be even better).- Strong ability to research, isolate, document, validate and promptly follow up on software bugs.- Passionate about testing and finding bugs.- Organized and able to work at a fast pace.- Great communication skills.- Ability to work autonomously and remotely, and learn new technologies quickly. Nice to have:- Experience doing manual testing for web software products.- Experience doing manual testing for mobile software products.- Experience doing manual testing for desktop software products.- Experience testing products involving content creation and/or live streaming.
