Responsibilities
  • Execution and maintenance test plans based on an understanding of the company's software testing methodology and of the software to be tested;
  • Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters;
  • Overseeing the drafting of testing documents;
  • Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process;
  • Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures;
  • Conducting analysis checks on product specifications;
  • Reviewing Quality Assurance reports;
  • Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market;
  • Responding to requests from the design team and management;
  • Review processes to ensure that they align with current trends;

Required skill set
  • 5+ years of testing experience dealing with Web-based enterprise applications as a QA Engineer in software quality assurance;
  • Must have recent hands-on experience testing of various types of software Web-based video streaming applications and media streaming technologies;
  • Experience with JavaScript and Python
  • Excellent understanding how Front and Backend Web Based Video’s work
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
  • Detail-oriented critical thinker with high-level analytical skills;
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting (Oracle, MySQL);
  • Hands-on experience with accessibility, security, and automated testing tools;
  • Experience with leading in-house and offshore teams;
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
