San Francisco (W2)

Remote to start but will become onsite in San Francisco once office opens.

Main duties:
  • Finding key suppliers, negotiating the company’s buying agreements and making sure their materials and products.
  • Procurement Specialist

    builds vendor relationships to secure the best prices on products for their company.
  • Gathering and preparing documents including

    quotes, proposals and purchase terms and conditions from suppliers for their supervisor to review
  • Work with General Counsel to review contract and vendor agreements as well as manages

    contract and license renewals
  • One of the supplier’s main points of contact and will answer any questions or address concerns the supplier has.
  • Find suppliers of goods and services
  • Ensuring the usernames/passwords for IT owned or supported software/services/vendors are stored and accessible in our password management tool and making updates/changes as needed
  • Monitor IT Procurement mailbox, review all requests for IT services and IT equipment
  • Create purchase orders and tally with supply requests/orders
  • Order, track and reconcile all equipment and IT services including licenses
  • Track all purchases and licenses through our Contract tool (Ironclad) or a defined asset tracker.
  • Support vendor diversity, equity and inclusion when soliciting vendors or purchasing equipment
  • Ability to perform and understand price and cost analysis, source selection/justification, analysis of supplier quotation.
  • High ability in use of Microsoft products, on-line PO documentation tools, Supplier management tools, and knowledge of the Supply Chain processes.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics or Supply Management.
  • 5+years plus of experience working in a procurement/subcontracts/supply chain role
