Salesforce Technical Architect to join our

team in San Francisco Bay Area. The Technical Architect is a mid-senior level Salesforce professional with a passion for leveraging the force.com platform and related technologies to create compelling digital solutions. He or she will have demonstrable abilities to lead the technical delivery of robust and scalable Salesforce applications from discovery, to design, build, and through test. Ideally, they are active in the Salesforce Community as evidenced through the attainment of numerous Salesforce Certifications and participation at Salesforce events. The Technical Architect is both a consultative leader and the technology expert on a Salesforce engagement and able to speak articulately to both business and technical concerns. He or she has full command of the software development life cycle and can transition between project management approaches as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into a scalable technical design and represent as required in architectural documentation or similar artifacts
  • Generate estimates of the level of effort to implement a solution based on the requirements
  • Provide sophisticated integration solutions between Salesforce.com and related systems such as ERP, Data Warehouses / Hubs, leveraging integration tools/technologies as necessary
  • Proactively raise blockers and identify resolution paths to maintain project velocity
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors (ISVs | AppExchange providers) and Salesforce Account Executives as necessary to support solution design and end-user license procurement
  • Serve as a mentor for entry-level / mid-career Developers
  • Collaborate with other business management and technology consulting leaders, account management, and business development at Unify

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of hands-on technical experience with the Salesforce platform
  • 2+ years in a senior consultant or delivery leader role
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of typical business systems and processes such as lead-to-cash, accounting, inventory management, etc.
  • Expertise with both Salesforce Classic and Lightning interfaces and related design patterns
  • Client-side (Lightning Web Component | JavaScript, HTML | Visualforce, CSS) & server-side (Apex) expertise
  • Exposure to on-prem & cloud-based platforms & services outside of Salesforce
  • Ability to design technical solutions for both current & future state scales
  • Web Services development or experience with the Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Metadata, etc.)
  • Excellent client-facing presentation with written and verbal communications skills
  • Candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of modern cloud architectures, including microservices
  • Experience with Heroku, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure

Preferred Certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II
  • Mulesoft Developer
