Title: DevOps EngineerContract: 2 months (possible extension)Location: Remote-onlyStart Date: ASAPNo C2C/Corp-to-Corp Responsibilities: Transform business requirements to usable technology that empowers our customers to meet the mission of our organization Improve business processes and systems to make them more automated and robust Write clean, fast and secure code to keep systems performant and reliable Conceive creative solutions and participate in every stage of the development life cycle from design, coding, testing, and releaseSkills: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience Expert level knowledge and experience in in designing, deploying and maintaining Kubernetes Expert level knowledge and experience with Linux systems Hands-on experience with various webserver and load balancer implementations, especially NGINX Ability to write clean and well documented code in a variety of languages Proven skill with scripting languages: Bash, Python, Powershell Experience writing web applications and knowledge of common web frameworks and languages: Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, NodeJS, React, PHP, CSS and HTML. Hands on experience with revision control systems (Git/BitBucket)Nice to have/not required: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies and technologies: Ansible, Terraform, and similar tools Experience with SharePoint or Confluence Deep understanding of various database flavors: Oracle, Ability to write procedural SQL (PL/SQL) and advanced SQL
