A Database Analyst III job with a leading Technology Company located in south San Jose is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. Flexible with working remote; hybrid schedule in San Jose. Potential to convert/extend after 3 months. Database Analyst III job responsibilities include: Do you love working with people and data? The Sr People Reporting Analyst will work closely with HR and business leaders to deliver insights using the storytelling approach through the dashboard and build a data culture @ HR. Key Responsibilities • Producing the weekly, monthly, and quarterly scheduled reports, including Executive Management Information and Workforce Metrics in an accurate and timely manner • Design, build and deploy the analytical/ BI reports like People Insights & Collaboration using enterprise-level tools and technologies. • Responsible for analyzing and visualizing the various domain-specific data. • Translate the business needs into the technical specification and help the team to understand the requirement and develop a quality product. • Enable the automation of End to End process for the People Insights & Collaboration platform. Automation might involve many phases while executing of project. • The Sr. People Reporting Analyst role is to plan, coordinate, and develop complex reports and perform all the technical activities related to Operational and Analytics Reporting in Tableau & OBIEE. • Supporting the effort of data integrity and data governance • On-going review and improvement of reporting processes to standardize and align techniques across all reporting teams Qualifications: • Advanced SQL Knowledge ( Oracle, Teradata ) • Experience with Tableau, OBIEE, Alteryx, or related tools • Basic knowledge of Workday Reporting • Solid understanding of relational databases • Ability to handle highly confidential data • Thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment • Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative • A customer-focused individual with proven experience in delivering complex analysis within short time frames managing multiple stakeholders. • Proactive and takes ownership of day-to-day activities, seeing deliverables through to completion.
