Embedded Software Engineer

Our client is looking well qualified Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in San Jose. This candidate will be contributing to the system design, implementation and verification of the features and algorithms for client s flagship software and data management products

Scope:

  • Deliver high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment
  • Specify, design, and implement functionality and behaviors of embedded subsystems
  • Hands-on hardware bring up, system debugging and code optimization
  • Contribute to technical designs and ECU requirements, safety analysis, and interface design between various microcontrollers
  • Collaborate in the full life-cycle of firmware development from concept through integration, test and high volume manufacturing

Requirement

  • 7-8+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer (if you have management experience it is a huge PLUS)
  • Strong C programming and software design skills
  • Design code modules with static memory footprint, Git version control system
  • Embedded systems design and architectures - should be familiar with concepts like watchdogs, task preemption, software interrupts, priority inversion, etc
  • Low-level driver implementation (like SPI, ADC, PWM, CAN, LIN, etc.)
