A Subscription Lifecycle Services team offers core services to manage the lifecycle of all subscribed consumers. A vastly energetic team wants to add a Java Developer to their Engineering Architecture team within SLS to build the next generation of services and features. They are wanting someone who can design, build and deploy secure, scalable, and reliable services. You need a deep understanding of modern cloud technologies and design patterns for building the "always-up" services. A model candidate would have a passion for fast development and deployment and is open to providing leadership to teams on micro-services architecture as well as our junior engineers. If you consider yourself an expert level developer, are paranoid about security and scalability, and have a sense of pride in the work you do then we want you to apply! Required Skills & Experience
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Java
- Spring framework
- Work with team on subscription platform
- Build scalable, high quality REST API end points
- Translate business requirements to architecture and technical specifications
- Develop unit test and ship high quality features
- Experience in building Java/J2EE based services
- Experience working with MySQL, Oracle, and Postgres on a production environment
- Problem solving skills
- Experience developing various Web technologies
- Knowledge of AWS
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies
