Production Engineer/Plant Operations Manager Looking for a solid production engineer to support an electronics manufacturing company based in San Jose. This company focuses on PCB assemblies and cable assemblies. This person will come in and oversee and improve production processes to maximize efficiency. This person will monitor production ops to ensure maximum production performance and maintain the reliability of equipment/machinery. The individual will provide technical support to management and production teams to help meet quality standards. The company is made up of 2 separate entities which are merging as well, 1 is focused on manufacturing and 1 is focused on inventory are parts purchasing/planning. The ideal person will have some operations experience and understand how to merge the 2 companies as well.

Scope: • Supervise the manufacturing processes, ensure quality work is done in a safe & efficient manner. • Plan & manage all elements of production in the facility. • Work with production personnel & communicate with customers to meet product specs. Also communicate with vendors in order to obtain materials and/or equipment needed. • Develop/implement quality control measures that effectively meet desired results for products. • Assess & analyze all facets of production & recommend improvements. • Establish safety procedures/protocols that the company will follow/adhere to. • Maximize productivity of machinery & workers to ensure workflow continuity. • Diagnosis/troubleshoot problems, develop plans & implement methods to resolve issues. • Support the merging of 2 companies - 1 is focused on manufacturing and 1 is focused on materials purchasing.

Required: • 5 years of production engineering or similar. • CAD SW abilities. • 5 years of Microsoft office. • Strong attention to detail/highly organized. • Innovative engineer to be able to synchronize companies. • Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Some level of ops experience with the ability to support the merging of a manufacturing company and a materials purchasing company.
