Kelly Technology has an opening for a REMOTE Perm Sr. UX Product Designer to work with our client.

SUMMARY We are seeking a Sr. UX Product Designer who can strengthen our dynamic and talented UX team. As a Sr. UX Product Designer, you can not only craft beautiful and delightful web and app products but can also take a seemingly complex financial experience and make sure the customer feels comfortable, secure and confident while completing their task. You are also able to take ownership of an area and lead the design process from beginning to end, including collaborating with our Product Managers during the discovery phase to understand product market fit, working with our Engineering teams to make sure that your design solutions are built on appropriate technology and delivered on time, partnering with our UX Research and marketing teams to test and iterate, and tracking post-release performance for making iterative improvements.

A core part of our success has been our focus on customer-centric design. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Researchers, and our Engineering teams to build solutions that meet the needs both of our customers and internal stakeholders while delivering on business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with the Product team to influence and execute on requirements to build a solution that focuses on the end user experience while meeting business objectives and key results.
  • Work closely with our development team throughout the process, including supplying pixel-perfect design mocks, participating in demos and reviews, and working on balancing release features with deadlines.
  • Be a steward of the collaboration cadence facilitating a stellar inclusion model with various cross functional teams throughout the PDLC.
  • Ask smart questions, take risks, and enjoy championing new ideas while not being afraid to embrace and learn from failure to evolve forward.
  • Collaborate with our talented and experienced UX Research and Design partners
  • Participate in design reviews with the UX team to receive and give constructive feedback.
  • Become the subject matter for a product or feature, working with your Product partner to make sure the entire E2E experience is accounted for and optimized for the customer

  • Find the sweet spot, design a transparent, smart, delightful and seamless experience that is frictionless and with no failures so that users feel safe and confident in all stages of their digital journey.
  • Develop a design paradigm across all product experiences and work to maximize adoption by clearly understanding the customer needs/pain points.
  • Apply design thinking strategies to help cross-functional teams collaborate and co-create amazing product experiences.
  • Communicate your ideas visually with user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • With your strong verbal and written communication skills, share your solutions with your team and larger audiences and apply feedback as you iterate.
  • Armed with your strong sense of aesthetics, you'll demonstrate your obsession with product quality.
  • Ship, build, test and iterate on stellar interactive experiences that simplify complexity.
  • Have deep expertise and knowledge of your product area.
  • Operate successfully in partnering with design, product, engineering, marketing, and customer service partners to nurture an extremely collaborative and iterative working relationship.
  • Mentor, coach and support junior design staff and be instrumental in their artifact crafting cadence and career growth.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in HCI, UX or Visual Design, Industrial Design, or Psychology
  • Expert in UX software tools such as Figma, Protopie, or other Prototyping tools.
  • 7+ years of UI/UX design experience working in agile product development teams.
  • Experience in E-Commerce or FinTech a plus.
  • Proficiency in Figma, or other design/prototyping software
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid visual design chops with a keen sense of typography, and interaction design, composition, and flow
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • UX portfolio that shares your exceptional design skills and demonstrates your UX process is required to apply.
