Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Accounting Manager - Implementation Consultant for a Contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA. Responsibilities :
- Gain a complete understanding of each workstream in Global Accounting
- Serve as a subject matter expert in areas of General Ledger, Parallel Ledger, Consolidations and Fixed Asset
- Act as a key contributor to S4 HANA implementation including strong leadership in:
- Chart of accounts
- Parallel Ledger
- Fixed Assets
- Map and document existing process workflow
- Identify and prioritize requirements across various finance stakeholders
- Design and architect accounting processes to ensure that operations are optimized and all cross-functional impacts are considered and evaluated
- Participate in the development of UAT plan, including identifying test scenarios, creating test cases and test data preparation
- Act as a liaison between System Integrator, IT and Accounting leaders
- Provide oversight of project deliverables; maintain implementation progress
- Participate in user acceptance tests
- Ad Hoc projects and analyses
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
- 15+ years of accounting experience in General Ledger, Consolidations, Fixed Asset and International Accounting
- 3 years of experience with implementation of ERP systems (S4 HANA preferred)
- Demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional projects
- Experienced knowledge of accounting policies, SOX controls, and financial statement preparation
- Familiar with Blackline, Tableau, Power BI, Ariba and Concur is a plus
