JOB TITLE – Business Analyst (Technical & Business requirement process)LOCATION – San Jose, CA (Remote till covid)TYPE – ContractDURATION – 6+ months (Will get extend)JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Authorable Workflow team develops a guided support experience for users and support agents of the products. The team understands the troubleshooting workflow and develops a self-guided path, using proprietary Google tools, for users and agents to provide solutions to the issues.The Authorable Workflow business analyst gathers requirements for new or updated functionalities/scenarios for the products, that need new troubleshooting paths to be developed or update to an existing troubleshooting path. The business Analyst would document the requirements in Technical Requirements Document (TRDs) as per the specifications and create a mock-up illustrating the customer journey. Business Analysts manage the end-to-end process of gathering, documenting, socializing, and sign off, of the TRDs along with all supporting documentation.Job Responsibilities:- Engage with stakeholders to understand and document requirements into a Technical Requirements Document (TRDs)
- Create mock-ups/diagrams to illustrate the customer journey in detail using tools like Lucidchart/Figma
- Manage the workflow end-to-end from creation, approval, implementation, and launch by addressing defects and modifying designs where necessary
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to digest large amounts of information and translating into Technical Requirements Document (TRDs)
- Able to communicate with executive stakeholders and communicate technical aspects to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent logical and analytical skills to translate the descriptions into clear requirements and flowcharts/diagrams
- Familiarity/experience of working with technical requirements (like API)
- Ability to create mock-ups/diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Figma, etc.
- Excellent communication & Time management skills and collaborative working style
- Program Management skills to drive the completion of work from start to finish
- Basic knowledge of Google tools like Cases, Connect (Redwood), Organizer
- Basic knowledge of the customer and technical support processes and taxonomy
- Basic knowledge of SQL
