- A Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Cybersecurity specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), IAVM (Information Assurance Vulnerability Management), STIGs and other government security specifications and guidelines
- Experience with XACTA or eMASS risk management and compliance automation tools
- Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and supporting Assessment and Authorization documentation
- Experience with security assessment/hardening tools such as ACAS/Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, etc
- Trained and proficient in Assured File Transfer (AFT) procedures
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently without supervision
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team throughout the system life-cycle
- Ability to communicate confidently with senior leadership
- DoD 8570 Certification meeting IAM Level I (i.e., Security + CE, CAP, GSLC)
