Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy &Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architectingorganizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win intheir chosen markets.Analytics &Cognitive will work with our clients to:Implement large-scale data ecosystems including datamanagement, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured datato generate insights leveraging cloud-based platformsLeverage automation, cognitive and science-basedtechniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actionsDrive operational efficiency by maintaining theirdata ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Serviceofferings for continuous insights and improvementsQualificationsRequiredBachelor-level degree in engineering,information technology, data communications, telecommunications, computerscience, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualificationsThree (3 ) years of experience in Core JAVAand SQLThree (3 ) years or experience in Python& Unix Shell ScriptingThree (3 ) years of experience in buildingscalable and high-performance data pipelines using Apache Hadoop, Map Reduce,Pig & HivePrevious experience with bigdata crossplatform compatible file formats like Apache Avro & Apache ParquetAdvanced knowledge of SQL/HiveExperience working on a Big Data platformand/or RDBMS (e.g. Teradata, Vertica, etc.)Experience in data analysis and ability todrive and extrapolate insights from business questionsLimited immigration sponsorship may beavailableAdditional RequirementsMust be willing to live and work in theGreater San Jose, CA area.
