Electronic Technician

Essential Functions/Critical Elements/Job Duties/Key Tasks & Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuits and components Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Troubleshoot low performance products and prototypes using schematics and engineering drawings Assist to develop methods and procedures to modify and improve the test process Ensure that diagnostic and troubleshooting tools are available and in working order Provide logging of all trouble incidents and keep inventory of equipment and equipment faults Perform daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled (maintenance) tasks and perform necessary interventionKnowledge/Skills/Abilities/Requirements RF and digital circuitry troubleshooting skills Familiar with MS Office programs (i.e., Excel & Word) and other pertinent software Possess soldering and de-soldering skills Ability to solder both through hole and surface mount devices Knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory Ability to use signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and base station test sets Interpret test instructions, assembly instructions, engineering drawings (blueprints), and work from schematics Effective communication skills are necessary in order to work effectively with team members, managers, and other employeesAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
