RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as the single point of contact ordering and managing various ISP circuits nationwide.
- Create and manage network design diagrams for project implementation.
- Participate in cross-functional reviews of new products and ensure proper alignment with new product requirements.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to effectively manage vendor cost and quality.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to enable the scalability of the organization.
- Conduct site surveys or remotely assist, as needed, to gather network requirement for determining project feasibility.
- Provide deployment and troubleshooting support for network integration activities during field construction.
- Configure network hardware including radios, switches, routers, console servers, power distribution units, UPS’s, and modems.
- In-depth knowledge of telecommunications standards and protocols. Mostly handling ISP circuit types and ordering process
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers and vendors to articulate proposals, designs, technical aspects, and issues.
- 3+ years in a telecommunications circuit design role that encompassed all aspects of circuit design from order acceptance to published CLR for all types of circuits.
- Strong on TCP/IP network design and implementation
- Experienced with configuring network switching and routing equipment (Multiple vendor)
- Familiar with industry-grade radio equipment operating in microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies
- Background in Networking (Dark Fiber/ OSP/ISP/IP/ Optical) is desired
- 2 - 3 years of experience working in the provisioning field for an ILEC, CLEC or ISP.
- Knowledge of Circuit Provisioning process including issuing LSR’s and ASR’s.
- Knowledge in all Circuit types (P2P/T1/L2-L3 TLS circuits/4G LTE Network)
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with IPv4 and IPv6.
- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with networking hardware.
- Thorough understanding of provisioning procedures, ILEC products and business rules.
- Detail-orientation and organized with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate at different level and work effectively in a team and independently
- Self-starter who can work effectively, both independently and in a team environment.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying scaled network solutions at mobile network operators (MNO), regional ISP, or Telco’s.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against deadlines.
- Proven experience working in a global team environment and solving problems independently.
- CCNA certification or equivalent experience
