Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Program Manager, Workplace Design for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA. You have exceptional design skills, a background in architecture or design, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. - Lead design projects globally that includes working with our Design partners to program employee needs, guide decisions in conceptual design, schematic design, design development, test fitting and space planning.
- Close partnership with our cross-functional delivery teams to ensure design solutions meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements including developing guidelines that can scale.
- Guide decisions related to furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting according to our brand and guidelines
- Demonstrate a passion for learning and innovation within a team passionate about the broader workplace experience team, thinking strategically about design as it connects to the overall human experience
- Help build and manifest an inclusive design approach in all aspects of design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related design field from an accredited college or university
- NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer
- Interior design experience of varying project types
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
- Deep understanding of the design and construction process from pre-design and programming through CA
- Graphics and visualization skills to successfully communicate design ideas when needed
- Ability to proactively communicate, be an extraordinary partner with and navigate critical conversations among multiple partners
- Experience with workplace strategy and programming
- Experience designing dynamic workplaces for technology companies
- Experience leading and creating Design Guidelines
- LEED Accreditation
- At least two years of experience as an in-house workplace designer or program manager being responsible for global project buildouts
- Experience facilitating employee engagements such as visioning sessions or focus groups that inform the design of spaces
