Position Title: Project Manager aria-hidden="true" Contract Term: 6 months aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the planning and successful implementation of a new jail management system (aka Inmate Records Information System (IRIS)) for the Sheriff's Office. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true"

Specific Tasks:• Perform as the Project Manager responsible for delivery of the IRIS project: aria-hidden="true" • Work with the selected solution vendor to create an integrated project schedule that includes the vendor's deliverables as well as tasks that need to be performed by the County; aria-hidden="true" • Closely monitor actuals against the approved baseline schedule and budget, and follow the necessary process to submit changes for approval; aria-hidden="true" • Log risks and issues in a timely fashion and actively work with the implementation vendor and County teams to create and execute mitigation and corrective action plans; aria-hidden="true" • Facilitate the resolution of complex problems by meeting with stakeholders, vendors, and technical staff to identify problems and potential solutions; aria-hidden="true" • Ensure alignment between the implementation team's approach with County standards and best practices; aria-hidden="true" • Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with business owners, project sponsors, project teams, resource managers and vendors; aria-hidden="true" • Work with resource managers to ensure resource availability and commitment, and effectively align resources across projects; aria-hidden="true" • Conduct project meetings, communicating individual roles, project expectations and desired outcomes; aria-hidden="true" • Prepare and present project status updates including detailed status reports periodically and as requested using the tool identified by Technology Services and Solutions (TSS); aria-hidden="true" • Utilize established project standards and procedures, where available, and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of tools; aria-hidden="true" • Conduct formal review at project completion with business sponsor to confirm acceptance and document lessons learned for future reference and learnings. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true"

Required Skills & Abilities:• IT Project Management expertise aria-hidden="true" • Public Safety domain expertise aria-hidden="true" • IT Project team/staff management aria-hidden="true" • Stakeholder management aria-hidden="true" • Financial management of IT projects >$1M aria-hidden="true" • Jail Management System (JMS) implementation experience aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true"

Experience Requirements:• 10+ years experience managing IT projects aria-hidden="true" • 5+ years managing public sector projects• Experience working with public safety/law enforcement agencies• Experience managing implementation vendors aria-hidden="true" • Managed at least one (1) JMS implementation aria-hidden="true" • Primary degree aria-hidden="true" • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
