Job Description SummaryReporting to the Associate Director, Clinical Solutions & CDx, US Region, the Scientific Liaison, MRD Research, US Region will lead the KOL partnership and management, market shaping and collaboration programs in the US region MRD (Minimal Residual Disease) Research portfolio. The portfolio consists of both flow cytometry reagents and software for MRD research. S/he is expected to be a technical expert in the field of immunology/immuno-oncology/flow cytometry/MRD and will be the primary contact for discussing future scientific projects with leading scientists at both academic centers and private industry. The role regularly interfaces with regional marketers, sales associates, and application specialists. They is expected to be a technical authority in the field of immunology/immuno-oncology/flow cytometry/MRD and will be the primary contact for discussing future scientific projects with leading scientists at both academic centers and private industry. The role regularly works with regional marketers, sales associates, and application specialists. The Scientific Liaison is expected to discuss MRD research studies with customers in supporting sales visits.Key Responsibilities :Translate KOL partnership outcomes into Demand Generation activities to drive market awareness in MRD research.

Scientific market development support across the MRD research portfolio offering by establishing relationships with KOLs who are conducting clinical research in the field of MRD.

Identify, Develop and Maintain New collaborations in the US region for MRD research.

Build SOWs working with business development and collaborators for existing and new collaborations.

Visiting CROs and customer sites with sales associates to discuss technological challenges and opportunities.

Serve as subject matter authority in the field of MRD for US region commercial team.

Present at key scientific conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and key account events.

Collaborate with downstream marketing to build scientific decks and collateral specifically designed for MRD research portfolio

Maintain a deep understanding of the customer unmet and unarticulated needs by regular engagement in field activities such as customer visits, tradeshows, virtual calls, and conferences.

Support in both market shaping and tactical marketing activities by collaboration with solutions focused marketing team.

Conduct scientific training on latest scientific trends to internal sales and applications members, as vital.

Build and lead an active publication list in the field of MRD. Create application specific sales enablement collateral from publications.

Provide market and scientific insights in support of business reviews.

Education and Experience:Advanced degree such as PhD in Biological Sciences is required.

Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in the life sciences industry with preferably roles in marketing, direct sales, field applications or customer experience function.

3 years of work experience post PhD in either academia or industry is preferred.

Experience with leading collaborations and market development in the field of MRD research is preferred.

Experience with gathering, analyzing, and sharing customer insights in the field of immunology.

Strong working knowledge of all BDB Cell Analysis systems (i.e., instruments, software, reagents, services, support) and a deep understanding of major competitors’ platforms is preferred.

Ability to analyze and interpret MRD data for flow cytometry for presentations.

Ability to work successfully with sales and customer support in support of achieving sales and customer objectives.

Familiarity with workflows pertaining to pharma/biotech industries in the field of MM MRD.

Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Leadership Requirements:Strong and effective communication skills with KOLs and leading scientists.

Excellent scientific presentation skills at conferences and a large audience set-up.

Advanced analytical, verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
