RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Server Side Java Engineer for our enterprise networking, security and cloud solutions client in San Jose, California (CA).
Summary:You will be part of WebEx Cloud Platform team. We provide the best collaboration platform experience to our world-class customers. You will work on state of the art microservices based cloud software in a dynamic and agile environment. You will develop multi-threaded Java server side software and deploy with Docker-based microservices. You'll develop software that will utilize popular data management infrastructure like Apache Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch in multi-cloud environments. You'll participate in the entire product life cycle including requirement analysis, architecture design, code implementation, functional and performance testing, deployment and support. Working with a small scrum team, you'll utilize agile development practices.REQUIREMENTS:Who You Are BS or MS in Computer Science or related field 4+ years of proven server-side software development experience with Java Familiar with Java spring and/or spring boot framework Must demonstrate proficiency in multi-threading programming with Java Have experience with Maven, GIT, CI/CD pipeline, REST API, Agile development methodologies Must demonstrate strong communication and team collaboration skills You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires a rare blend of innovation, risk taking and speed of execution You're an independent thinker as well as collaborator You're passionate about contributing to a larger picture You're able to prioritize among multiple projects An exemplary communicator and standout colleague, you strive for self-improvementPreferred Qualifications: Knowledge about Identity Management (SCIM), Authentication/Authorization (OAuth2) is a plus Experiences in Apache Cassandra, Redis, and/or Kafka Have experience with microservice development environment such as Docker Experience with event driven architecture Experience with Postgres RDS, Apache Kafka, Redis, or Apache tomcat Experience with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront and/or Elastic Cache with RedisKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
