Responsibilities: Design and code software solutions utilizing agile methodologies Perform requirements gathering, vendor and product evaluation Work with other teams, vendors, and clients to resolve issues and develop solutions Stay abreast of new technologies and develop expertise in new tools Participate in the development lifecycle with a focus on developing new features and functionalities for enterprise software solutions, encompassing service layers, integration, user interfaces and data Participate in architecture and framework extensions, development of services and components (design, coding, and testing), system/subsystem definition, interface, and product architecture Assess new issues and take ownership of establishing protocol for problem resolution Attends training courses as required and stay abreast of evolving internal processes and industry developments Applies problem-solving skills to provide customer support to resolve escalations Provides other ad hoc support and duties as assigned Design reusable components by utilizing various standard frameworks Develop application test plans. This can include regression, integration, or full system test plans Perform debugging, unit, and system level testing on programs Review and provide input to technical writers, training developers on application specific publications, on-line help implementation, and if appropriate, training class development Participates in code reviews for other development projects Design, Build new RESTful APIs Performs gap analysis and documents findings

Qualifications: A BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience 7+ years of software development experience Experience with Pick/Reality or another Pick-like variant Experience with Object Oriented Programming concepts (such as PHP or Java) Experience with JavaScript (SPA framework preferred such as Reactjs, Angular, Vue, etc.) Familiarity with REST architecture Experience with Agile Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Enthusiasm for solving interesting and complicated problems. Basic knowledge of XML, XHTML and related technologies Be able to understand and interpret existing application software solutions Experience with Git, Atlassian stack Experience in the Automotive industry a plus Postgres/SQL knowledge, a plus Strong communication skills CDK Global knows you have passions outside of work.
