Job Responsibility:The role of a Subject Matter Expert - Energy/Utility Domain will be to provide advisory/consulting services to Power & Utilities clients, responding to RFP, requirements, assist implementation team of digital grid programs, capabilities and systems (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS) resulting in increased value and efficiency.Responsibilities include but not limited to assist in all phases of the pre-sales, practice development and delivery processes. Support in scaling-up business in terms of business growth and operational excellence.Design solutions and architecture for Utility IoT/IIoT domain with focus on IT-OT integration.A focus to develop successful products/solutions, constantly dig into the Energy, Utility customer use cases.Support the process of Bid Management, proposal readiness and technical presentation. - Should have worked extensively in Grid Operations with advanced knowledge of systems - SCADA, DMS, OMS, Grid Cyber Security, MDMS, AMR/AMI, DRMS, DERMS and GIS. Experience in Energy leading platforms/ systems - Itron MDM, Siemens EnergyIP etc.
- Experience and exposure to digital technologies including OT | IT-OT | IoT Automation, use of Advanced Analytics for operational efficiencies, defect prevention, energy optimization, reduced unplanned downtime, Digital, Analytics, Mobility, Distributed Energy etc.
- Experience in working on utility related software provided by leading companies - OSI - SCADA, DMS, NMS,EMS , Survalent - SCADA,DMS, Schneider Electric - Foxboro Evo SCADA,IASCADA, ABB's MicroSCADA Pro, and Client - SCADA,DMS,EMS systems etc.
- Exposure to International Utilities clients (including onshore client facing consulting work experience)
- Should have process expertise for minimum 3 year in the areas of Field Operations, Planning and Management with exposure to areas such as application of Analytics, Mobility and Cloud technologies in Field Operations, System Planning, Microgrid Planning, Asset Management and Predictive Analytics
- Experience launching and executing successful initiatives in complex and challenging environments.
- Exposure to innovation - IoT, Cyber Security, Digital, Analytics, Mobility, Distributed Energy etc.
- Be familiar with emerging technologies like Cognitive, AI/Deep Learning, Client, IoT/E and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality.
- Qualified to degree level or professional equivalent from Tier 1 College/ institute is required
- Over 12 years' Utility/Energy domain/solutioning experience
