Job Description:

1) Obtain approval for proposals that generate new revenue streams from new products via business model and pricing innovation a) Collection, synthesis and analysis of industry and company sales & usage data to support the proposal b) Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research and perform statistical analysis to understand customer willingness to pay relevant to the proposal c) Develop financial models that simulate customer behavior and project costs, in order to complete scenario analysis that estimates the impact of the proposal on market penetration, company revenues and margin d) Develop and present the business cases that articulate the strategy and return-on-investment in order to obtain executive approval of the proposal

2) Drive business model and pricing initiatives to optimize existing offerings a) Optimize product configuration. Complete research to determine which services or features should be included in which product in order to better differentiate. (For example: determine what should be included in Individual, Team, and Enterprise versions of Document Cloud) b) Optimize the product line (including bundling strategy). Complete research to determine which products should be included in a product line. c) Complete pricing research and/or empirical analysis to determine the optimal price for each product in the family, in order to encourage upsells. This market research may include one or more of the following research methods: Build-Your-Own Conjoint, Discrete Choice Conjoint, Gabor-Granger, Van Westendorp, cluster analysis) d) Determine geo-specific pricing based on market comparables and data analysis e) Develop segment-specific pricing for Sign offerings (e.g. EDU)

3) Ensure smooth execution of all proposals a) Define and drive product requirements for product roadmap and future releases to address customer needs related to the business model strategy b) Plan, direct and coordinate operational activities required for execution of the proposal, including the development of excel-based tools to facilitate the quoting and customer fulfillment process c) Set guidelines for direct sales, develop sales plays and train deal desk and field sales to execute the proposal d) Work with Sales Ops to develop and deploy pricing-related sales enablement and training e) Complete post-mortems to ensure proposals are successful and/or refine
