- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required
- At least 5 plus years of experience developing VLSI blocks from early specification through design, implementation, and verification
- Experience with ASIC/SOC design methodology
- Experience with synthesizable RTL coding using Verilog
- Experience with verification methodologies using SVA, System-C & shell/Perl/Ruby scripting
- Experience with image processing / digital signal processing
- Ability to draft detailed microarchitecture documentation
- Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with Low power design methodologies
- Experience with algorithm development
- Experience with physical back end including formal verification, timing closure, DFT, BIST, ECOs, static timing analysis, power analysis tools, library files, etc.
- Experience with hardware bring-up and evaluation
- Experience with firmware / embedded microprocessor / microcontrollers
- Experience with common serial protocols such as I2C, I3C, SPI, etc.
- Experience with FPGA development tools, especially Xilinx ISE or equivalent
