A growing IT Managed Services company is seeking to hire a PC Desktop/Help Desk and Entry Level Security Service Technician in San Juan Capistrano, CA. This is a standard service technician position with an emphasis on network security.

Daily Responsibilities: Provide Help Desk (70%) and Desktop (30%) support for clients Install and maintaining software and hardware Remote into client networks, using Solarwinds, installing networks, resolving email issues, and password resets Troubleshooting desktops and laptop for clients Resolve and administer IP addresses Troubleshoot software mentioned in addition to enterprise applications for specific industries. Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues Call client s vendors for warranty and troubleshooting issues. Monitor and manage security software for client networks (AV software, network security software, Other security related tools. Routinely compile security reports for clients to review. Continuously develop security operations department for company Work with management to source & research new security software or practices to protect client networks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must have a valid drivers licences and able to travel to various clients sites in Orange County 35% of the time. 2+ years exp providing Help Desk/Desktop Support, installing/maintaining and troubleshooting software and hardware Some experience with network security, monitoring security tasks, vulnerabilities, emails and Antivirus software Experience installing, maintaining MS Office suite; Word, Excel, & Outlook, etc. Experience configuring email accounts using Outlook and Office365 or comparable service. In depth knowledge and usage of Windows operating systems (windows 7, 8, 8.1,10). Savvy with search engine techniques. Understand Routers, Firewalls (Preferably Cisco), WAPs, and other networking devices. Experience with Antivirus programs: Bit Defender, Panda Security, Trend Micro, ESET, etc. Experience with Spyware/Adware removal tools. MUST be willing to convert to a full-time employee after 6 months Excellent customer service skills and communication skills

DESIRED: Certifications: A+, MCSE, MSDBA, MSCSA, CCENT, CCNA, Security+, Network+. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus. Mac experiences is a plus.
