Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Technical Writer for a 6 Month assignment in Austin, TX. The Technology Group is looking for a technical writer to help us build the future of gaming. Our team is responsible for building future innovations that will help shape how games are played and enjoyed. We're looking for a technical writer who can help bring our technical documentation to the next level. The ideal candidate will have experience working with highly-technical engineering teams to produce clear, concise technical documentation. Additionally, this candidate should help coach and guide teams how to create great documentation. Basic Qualifications ? 6+ years relevant experience as a technical writer in IT or software development fields ? 3+ years specific experience writing technical requirements and design ? Stellar written and verbal communications ? Proven experience writing requirements, procedures, and process documentation ? Ability to translate detailed documentation into simple, easy to understand presentations or "how-to" style documents ? Experience with these key tools used for documentation: Confluence (including advanced features, such as Templates), GitHub, Google Docs/Sheets/Presentations ? Experience with creating data visualizations and infographics ? Experience in authoring highly readable and useable documentation with a deep technical focus ? Solid attention to detail with a thorough command of professional English style, grammar, and syntax ? Ability to quickly review, comprehend, and synthesize highly technical information from various sources, including verbal discussions, and combine them into written practices and direction What You'll Be Doing ? Work closely with Engineers, Architects, and Engineering Management to document engineering practices and processes ? Build presentations and other instructional / training documents for engineers ? Develop architectural and process diagrams ?
