Key Function and Responsibility of the Role: An exciting opportunity to join a new global team that manages content and operations for PlayStation.com - marketing some of the world's most popular products, services and experiences. We're looking for a content management expert who is a technically minded (in relation to content components and localisation workflows), pragmatic, strategic and highly organised to work with a EU-based counterpart to support business requirements globally. As a Technical Content Ops Lead (US), you'll be responsible for all required tech op tasks relating to website Marketing content deployment, operation, maintenance, repair, and optimization of the website; working alongside a team of web producers, ops, devs and multiple stakeholders to ensure that the site is current, relevant, and on-brand. You will be the technical expert in content management systems (AEM), with a focus on system improvements, UAT, QA, training and documentation. You will be supporting the global dev program, editorial process and strategy that fuels SIE's (Sony Interactive Entertainment) flagship website (PlayStation.com), in turn driving player engagement and business objectives. This is a part of a global team and will require working with a distributed team across multiple time zones. Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Triage, troubleshoot and fix publishing issues; informing and escalating to relevant internal teams and IT when required in order to find a solution
  • Be the CMS technical expert as required (e.g. AEM, GitHub, or other publishing platforms/tools)
  • Working closely with the development team to address system bugs, improve and evolve our platforms/tools
  • Project manage UAT sessions as required
  • Technical lead for any cross-tool integration, working closely with all relevant parties to ensure workflows are functioning as efficiently as possible.
  • Lead training and education for system users and territory on-boarding creating documents and guides re: how to use the CMS (eg such as Page creation workflow, CMS search, activation, scheduling, component creation, assets upload including master propagating changes to the locale)
  • Ensure the timely and accurate global publishing of content across PlayStation.com (as needed)
  • Regular QA of the digital channels to find and address content issues (as needed)
  • Support the needs of 36+ territory marketing teams in their BAU management of local web initiatives and timely page activations (as needed)
  • Manage user access and document who has what access, including listing. Take away the access and get the listing removed once no longer required.
  • Support management of business tools inventory and its owners, usage / documentation Such as Akamai redirects, decibel, tagging, reporting tools, Search & Promote (as needed)
  • Liaise with internal teams and documenting/proposing/submitting system changes to better support the day to day activities, suggesting automation where possible
  • Support business reporting as needed eg production of ad-hoc report from the CMS either using query, or pre-defined report
  • Be aware of CMS OOTB tools and propose/liaise with IT/Business to recommend proof of concept and usage
Required Qualifications: Education Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required. Experience & Skills Required
  • 15+ years digital experience in CMS administration
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience manager
  • Understanding of content ops best practice
  • Experience in multi-site, multi-language, global site management and bulk-operations
  • Understanding of Locale-specific requirements across the EMEA region
  • Understanding of a standard User Acceptance Testing process
  • Quick study, resourceful, resilient, highly organized, with a can-do attitude
  • Commitment to delivering projects on time and in high-confidentiality scenarios with an understanding of Embargo content delivery limitations
  • Excellent prioritization, project management and multi-tasking skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proficiency and professionalism
  • Fluent in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flexible and adaptable

Preferred
  • Headless CMS experience
  • Understanding of Agile deployment process and tools such as JIRA/Trello/Wrike/Slack

  • Some HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Proficiency in additional language(s)
