In this role you will own the technical field engagement model reporting to the Director of UC. In this capacity, you will design, implement, measure and manage the end-to-end technical lifecycle from buying decision through implementation, for Crestron Meeting offerings with customers and partners. This includes influencing the sale, deployment, and adoption of Crestron Flex, Mercury, scheduling panels and other meeting workloads, including XiO Cloud, Microsoft and Zoom software.Paired with a Regional Sales Manager - be the go-to technical expert for UC team sales and client solutions in the Northwest territory focusing primarily on Bay Area & Seattle markets.

Be the leading community expert in the way that UC backend services work. This means constantly learning and acquiring deep technical knowledge of Crestron partners such as Microsoft and Zoom technologies both on-prem and in the cloud.

Explain, demonstrate, and prove in-depth what Crestron meeting products & service can do, and how to enable and manage them for our customers.

Clear technical, competitive, and adoption blockers to Meeting sales & usage.

Lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance discussions for Meetings.

Be the connection and orchestration point for other technical resources:

Provide feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements.

Communicate and escalate technical, architectural and competitive blockers and insight to the appropriate channels.

Develop partner engagements for driving the sale, deployment, and adoption of Meeting solutions.

Orchestrate cross-workload solutions with Crestron Sales and Dealers

Stay sharp and share your knowledge:

Continuously nurture and expand your technical, sales, and competitive readiness.

Participate in internal Crestron technical communities and in the broader industry through events, blogs, whitepapers, and articles for the Meetings domain.

Minimum 4 years of related experience in technical pre-sales and/or technical consulting roles preferred

You should have a very strong knowledge in Microsoft Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams and the entire Microsoft ecosystem both on-prem and O365 solutions. You are often looked at as someone who is often consulted on Microsoft deployments and are able to answer the most complex technical questions about Microsoft backend systems. If you are a Microsoft MVP, then this is the qualification we are looking for.

Amazing Technical Sales Professional. Strong Cloud and Meetings solution selling experience preferred

Deep Meetings & Services knowledge. Strong hands-on technical experience with Meetings and collaboration technologies

Meetings architect. Broad knowledge of and ability to explain key end-user scenarios and technical architecture in the Meetings space required

Cloud Trust. Demonstrated knowledge of identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance topics with regards to cloud and hybrid productivity solutions required

Demonstrated knowledge of business analytics, including data modeling, report and dashboard creation, data security, governance and compliance preferred

Technical breadth. Experiences and knowledge in TCP/IP networking, enterprise-scale experience with cloud & hybrid infrastructures, heterogeneous client OS & device environments, productivity solution architecture and design, and migrations required

Planning for success. Meeting deployment and adoption planning, including and the high-level project management and change management tasks associated with driving usage of meeting workloads

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred

Certifications in UC technologies (Avaya, Cisco Call Manager, Spark, WebEx, Jabber, #Slack, Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and or Lync/Skype for Business/Teams certifications) preferred

Certifications in information security (CISSP, CCSP, and/or CCSK) desired

Travel Requirements:

You must be able to travel 50% of the time focusing on our client partners in the Northwast.

This is a remote position - ideal for someone currently living in either the San Francisco, Silicon Valley or Seattle location.
