If you crave customer satisfaction, are lit up by technology and live for transformation, this is the job for you.We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager with deep expertise in team transformation. Infrastructure is the hardware, software, and networks used to develop, test, monitor, control, or support internal engineering teams. You will be responsible for the DevOps and Support teams in the design, implementation, and quality of services you deliver. The ideal candidate will draw upon technical background, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that provides innovative solutions to support development teams. The candidate should be open to new challenges, extremely good at multi-tasking, innovative, creative, self-directed and a great team player. Candidates should drive continuous process improvement and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.You'll provide leadership in the application of new technologies to large scale deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you'll work with thought-leaders in multiple technology areas. You'll have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you'll be constantly looking for ways to improve our products' performance, quality and cost. - Measure your customer's productivity and take responsibility for the quality of your service
- Develop infrastructure requirement plans and execution plans
- Responsible for testing, deployments and measuring infrastructure health
- Learn, Design and Build cloud computing systems for a diverse set of customers
- Ownership of development infrastructure
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 5+ years of Application DevOps experience supporting development leadership
- Experience deploying systems and applications in an enterprise environment
- Experience writing code to automate the management of IT/Infrastructure services
- Programming experience in Python
- Experience writing shell scripts
- Experience with Linux administration
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Experience with writing object-oriented code in any programming language
- Rigorous focus on security at all levels of the application, a "shift left" mentality
- Proven experience in transforming and the implementation of DevOps practices
- Experience running a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Gitlab, AzureDevOps ect)
- Terraform or other infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Cloudformation ect)
- Experience in directing multiple teams supporting multiple business units within First American
- Experience in collaboration with Executives, peers and subordinates.
- Experience with network design
- Experience with enterprise storage design
- Meets/exceeds First American's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
