Job Description
Senior Android DeveloperLos Angeles, CA or Austin, TX or can be remoteDirect HireUp to $135k yearSuccessful candidate will design and implement Android SDKs (libraries, samples, documentation) that interface with the Multiscreen as a Service Platform. Create frameworks that can be used to rapidly build customer applications. Work with Product management to take detail story driven requirements and implement them using Agile Test Driven techniques. Create prototypes that demonstrate value and functionality of emerging technologies.Required Skills:- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of professional software development
- 2+ years professional Android development experience with Kotlin and Java
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong technical leadership and guidance skills
- Strong people skills, both within the organization (from developers to senior management) and with customers/partners
- SQLite Experience, working with databases locally on Android.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, Android Studio, Git/Github, Confluence, JIRA, and Slack
- BlockChain and/or Crypto Wallet development experience is a huge plus.
- Experience with information retrieval, network programming and/or developing large software systems - specifically web services / endpoints such as REST or SOAP
- Experience with GCM / push notification implementations
- Experience with cloud delivery platforms, ideally Amazon Web Services
- Experience doing Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI) and test automation.
- Experience with agile development processes
