Application Developer (Backup Database Administrator responsibilities). Good understanding of Microsoft applications environment required, and some System and Database administration will be helpful. Reporting to the Applications and Database Manager, successful candidate will provide knowledgeable software development and enhancements on current projects as well as daily support of Business Applications which could include diagnose and troubleshoot issues to resolution alongside other team members. This daily job is based onsite at the HQ in North OC – hybrid role might be consideredQualifications and Experience Required:- 3+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise level Business Application Development and Support of Systems such as:
- SharePoint, NET Application Development, PowerShell Scripting, VB Scripting, JavaScript, PHP, My SQL, MS SQL Server, IIS, MS Dynamics NAV, Azure Cloud, familiar with Agile Development methodologies, strong Problem Solving
- Work closely with the Support and Systems teams to resolve ticket request escalations, identify opportunities to support the business.
- Deliver technology based solutions by analyzing information requirements, determine systems architecture, and delivering the appropriate components, and technologies.
- Assist in the application development life cycle for multiple customer applications.
- Help maintain the code repositor, application inventory, documentation of configuration standard and vendor activities
- Perform analysis to identify and demonstrates the ability to fix bugs and issues.
- Assist with timely and accurate progress information on project status reports.
- Prepare technical and user documentation, translating technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Support organization goals by accepting ownership of tasks and requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Deliver results across all areas of the IT Services spectrum, including, but not limited to: Application Development, Database Management and Support.
- Strong organizational skills in order to drive tasks and efforts
- Strong communication skills, responsible for all client facing and vendor communication
- Work to co-ordinate the project team’s efforts to efficiency and a successful implementation
