We are currently seeking Technical Professionals who are searching for challenging and rewarding jobs for the following opportunity: CGS is currently hiring for a self-starting IT Business System Analyst within the Digital Mortgage team.
The successful IT Business System Analyst will start as a contract-to-hire role and assist the company with their initiative to streamline and modernize their back office, as well as work on many upcoming projects to transform their accounting, operations and servicing platforms. This position works with Business Stakeholders to understand their Change Requests to verify it makes good business sense and does not impede existing solid processes. Business System Analyst will then create user stories, use cases and wireframes/ mock ups from the Business Requirements and works with the offshore Developers and IT teams to interpret the Change Request and their best implementations.Where You're Located: Ideally candidate will located within a commutable distance to Anaheim, CA; REMOTE or hybrid candidates WILL also be considered with the right experience.Minimum Required skills:- Minimum of 3 years as a Business System Administrator representing the IT dept supporting business users
- Should have a passion to learn and utilize new digital mortgage techniques
- Financial or Mortgage Experience highly desired, candidate will need to learn Servicing
- Will act as the IT liaison Business System Analyst SME and have experience gathering Business Requirements, creating user stories, use cases, test scripts and wireframe/ mock ups with strong communication skills to communicate the requirements effectively to offshore.
- Will have the desire and ability to learn how to support new Accounting and Servicing system for the implementation of them into the organization.
- Strong organization and management/ facilitation of the tasks/ projects such as delivery on mini enhancements to bigger projects, the documentation & updating of manuals
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analyst field OR a combination of equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to work and be on an “on call” schedule twice a week for an hour in the evening to meet with offshore teams
- Write Business Requirements and Technical Specs via user stories, uses cases and create wire frame mocks up for the offshore developers to work with.
- Assist in spearheading some of the digital mortgage initiatives utilizing
- Assist in delivering on initiatives to upgrade/ implement new software such as the Accounting system and Servicing system.
- Involved in creating and updating documentation and manuals and support the user community with system questions.
- Help facilitate Projects for the IT department.
- Maintaining MS Project
- Facilitate Regular Project Management Meeting
- Work with Project Members to ensure tasks are getting completed on time.
- Review Encompass Change Requests
- Work with Requestor to validate request
- If necessary, work with other department that are affected by this change
- Fully document the Request
- Go over Documentation with Denise
- Test the Completed Change Request with Requestor & Document any changes needed.
- Manage System Change Request Process
- Perform a demo with business users and ensure change’s are approved before and after development
- Make sure completed Changes are getting tested
- Communicate to Requestor if User Procedures are needed & review to make sure the documentation matches the functionality
- Test and coordinate new enhancement implementation and system Releases (this should include working with the users affected by the release).
