SR. BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST Location; Santa Ana, San Diego, Los Angeles, CA JOB DESCRIPTION This role is responsible for providing the highest level of business systems analysis design and support for interfacing business and computer application systems. It will also develop or modify procedures to solve complex business problems considering client needs, cloud application capabilities operation time and form of desired results. Perform analysis and work at the highest level of most phases of systems analysis. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex business processes, based on industry best practices and the Company's IT objectives. This role will leverage nCino applications to achieve optimization of the overall function, enable growth and scale to realize the client's objectives, improve customer and colleague experience, exemplify and promote the nCino platform as a primary driver of technology innovation, transformation and change within the company while adhering to the overall roadmap and vision for our client, and support other related bank wide initiatives. You will partner with the business and technology teams to configure system functionality. In this role, you are expected to perform all duties in accordance with the client's policies and procedures, all U.S. State and Federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex business processes, based on industry best practices and the Company's IT objectives.
  • End-to-end delivery of nCino solution, including: working with various teams and other business users to gather and define business requirements; and translate them into user stories and process flows.
  • Acts as the liaison amongst stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements using industry leading practices within the business analyst profession.
  • Leads nCino/Salesforce solution design sessions and develop functional requirements and design.
  • Ensures all requirements are fulfilled by the technical design.
  • Collaborates with the test team to generate scenarios/test cases and test scripts, ensuring traceability to all requirements.
  • Develops recommendations to improve processes or techniques.
  • Determines the overall requirements gathering strategy and plans the requirements phase of the project including the work division strategy among the project Business Analysts.
  • Manages the progress and quality of the requirements gathering activities and adjusts the plan as necessary.
  • Plans the risk response strategy to be used in monitoring and controlling all identified risks throughout the requirements process.
  • Leads moderately complex projects and participates in larger, more complex initiatives.
  • Solves complex technical and operational problems.
  • Acts as a coach and mentor for teammates with less experience.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis.
  • Understand cross-functional impacts of business requirements to configuration, process, workflow and reporting, and incorporate into user support interactions.
  • Serve as a point-of-contact from the Loan Operations team for day-to-day support of the nCino platform users: answer questions, help with access and usage requests and needs, identify issues and work with the appropriate parties on remediation.
  • Leverage existing Loan Ops and Technology team members, processes and best practices to optimize the nCino experience.
  • Help design and execute a broader support model, inclusive of self-service materials/capabilities, in coordination with the Loan Operations Technology roadmap.
  • Help to create and maintain custom reports and dashboards for various teams.
  • Perform basic data uploads in support of maintenance activities, sales campaigns, and activity tracking.
  • Support enterprise-wide view of platform access/authority; help ensure appropriate policies and practices are in use.
  • Support requests from Audit, Compliance and other functions for information and assessments of nCino platform / product use, and other topics.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in end-to-end delivery of nCino solution, including working with the Sales and Credit Teams and other business users to gather and define business requirements, and translate them into user stories and process flows.
  • Ability to perform nCino user acceptance testing with team, experience in end-user deployment, adoption and training.
  • Have knowledge of the nCino / Salesforce platform, including the foundational concepts of the application and the functions contained within.
  • Has a deep understanding of the Agile methodology and collaborates with team members to incorporate rigor and accountability across all phases of the process.
  • Understand cross-functional impacts of business requirements to configuration, process, workflow and reporting, and incorporate into user support interactions.
  • Must be able to serve as a point-of-contact from the Loan Operations team for day-to-day support of the nCino platform users: answer questions, help with access and usage requests and needs, identify issues and work with the appropriate parties on remediation.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in using and implementing Salesforce solutions.
  • Minimum of1-2 years of nCino experience with knowledge of commercial banking principles, practices, and procedures.
