Sr. Software Engineer

6 months contract to hire

Location: Santa Ana, CA; possibility for remote but local is preferred

Job responsibilities:Participates in the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software code for business applications.Responsible front end, middle-tier and integration with backend REST APIs.Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and develops specifications to resolve them.

Essential FunctionsFull Stack application development experience.Agile SDLC methodology required.Provides maintenance of developed software including regression testing and debugging.Build test automation suites to ensure the quality of guest impacting products Ability to quickly learn legacy applications and document current stateSkills: Knowledge and Skills/Technology UsedHave 5+ years of experience developing applications in C# and .Net a must.Experience on migrating from .Net Framework to .Net Core is preferred.3+ years' experience with design and development of integration or middleware solutions.3+ years in JavaScript, Node JS, C#, VB .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Framework3+ 3.0 – 4.7, .NET Core 2.0 above, Visual Studio 2010-2017, 2019Excellent knowledge with RESTful API development and advanced Web Services such as WCF and Web API.Excellent knowledge of Open API, Swagger, REST, JSON, MVC, and service-oriented architecture.Excellent knowledge of Open ID Connect, JWT, ADFS. And Microsoft Azure Identity as a Service a plus Work with modern design patterns and methodologies including converting and working with legacy code Experience with Middleware API Gateway such as Akana/TIBCO/Mulesoft Experience with Cloud technologies: MS Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud.Full SDLC experience start to finish and helping lead the processExpertise with developing multiple tiers of multi-tiered software applicationsExpertise in designing programs and applicationsExperience designing application systemsConstantly updating personal technical and business knowledge and skills and mentoring others to increase the knowledge and skills of the teamStrong organizational or Project Management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsSASS experience is a plus

Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceTypical Range of ExperienceTypically, 10+ years of directly related experienceExperience working with distributed team is preferred
