Job Summary

As a UX Researcher you will work with small cross-functional teams to create and execute on research plans. You and your research will be responsible for surfacing our user's needs and behaviors, then turning those into insights that will inspire product strategy.

Remote work available, open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead research for discovery and iterative product development initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Product Designers recommending research practices and providing UX direction on solutions.
  • Conduct workshops to build empathy, understand customer needs, and validate hypotheses.
  • Plan, conduct, analyze, synthesize and communicate research findings to the product team and other stakeholders.
  • Produce clear and impactful artifacts that surface the most meaningful stories from the research findings.
  • Develop an understanding of our users, competition and marketplace.
  • Coordinate recruiting, scheduling and communication with research participants.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 4+ years of product design research experience.
  • Seasoned practitioner in both qualitative and quantitative research, with an appreciation for applying lean methodologies to process.
  • Experience with both generative and evaluative research initiatives.
  • Efficiently use a design tool (Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq etc.) to convey new feature ideas through wireframes or low fidelity mockups.
  • Demonstrates expertise with preparation for and execution of interviewing, concept testing, usability testing, ethnographic research, diary studies, heuristic evaluations, surveys, personas, journey maps, remote testing and benchmarks.
  • You're a naturally curious person, have a strong sense of humility and deeply care about solving the right problem.
