Our client, one of the most well recognized financial corporations, is seeking an immediate need for a Web Developer to join their fun and dynamic team. You will build of secure automation capabilities that enable our application and data engineers to unveil their products to the world and create a platform to make products smart, secure and fast. This is a remote position, contract to hire. Per client’s requirements, applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or have a valid request for a medical or religious exemption.
What You Will Do:- Develop and Implement complex automation tasks and cloud architecture
- Advocate DevOps culture, tooling, delivery methods, and cultural practices
- Assist with estimating work efforts required for each phase of an agile project
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers and less experienced engineers
- Identify and raise technical risks and issues
- Research and stay current in AWS, technology, associated vendor products, and their interdependencies
- 8+ years of progressively responsible software engineering and DevOps experience building end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
- 5+ years of AWS cloud experience is mandatory, Azure a plus (AWS experience must include Networking, Containers, Application integration (queuing), Database and Storage products.)
- 5+ years of experience in building YAML based pipelines and Azure DevOps.
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure-a-Code using Terraform and CloudFormation (plus).
- 2+ years of experience in Configuration Management using Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes Cluster in AWS is a huge plus.
- Experience with securing the AWS workloads and security practices will be a huge plus.
- Experience delivering complex solutions utilizing common scripting/programming languages (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go, etc)
- Experience delivering complex solutions utilizing common programming languages such as React.JS, Angular.JS, Java/J2EE, Bash, etc.
