Job Summary

Come join our newly created team and be responsible for the Quality Analysis work involved in delivering our cloud-native Title Automation application! In this role, your focus will be on enabling the delivery of a highly visible, super impactful technology solution that allows our business users to fulfill mortgage and title insurance orders in the fastest possible time.

In this role, you'll carry out and develops procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements in an applications development environment. Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures to ensure that programs developed throughout the company function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines. Support responsibilities will include the development and execution of test scripts for new and/or modified software applications and software development procedures and standards. You will be challenged to automate quality testing, integrate with and extend a CI/CD deployment pipeline and ensure the agile delivery team is producing high-quality, secure, and high-performance features.

Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of an Agile delivery team to plan, test, and maintain applications
  • Web Services automation testing
  • Develop and continuously improve testing practices and strategies including functional, performance, and regression
  • Work closely with Product Management to ensure alignment, quality, and supporting their expectations.
  • Automate using Selenium or other tools to ensure compliance, code style, performance, and functionality.
  • Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
  • Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
  • Reviews new or modified programs, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if the program (a) performs according to the user request, and (b) conforms to guidelines.
  • Assists programmers and business units in developing application test plans and verifies that applications and programs have been tested according to plan.
  • Assists business unit in verifying that applications provide the agreed-upon functionality.

Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
  • 7+ years experience with running and developing automated test scripts using 3rd party testing tools.
  • 2+ years experience developing automation code in Selenium or other automation tools
  • Working Knowledge of quality assurance and acceptance testing methodologies and/or training.
  • Maintain the perspective of the end-user to ensure that the software will function optimally in the business process environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Apply strong knowledge of testing methodologies such as black box, white box, smoke, and unit testing.
  • Measure the test effectiveness utilizing metrics, monitor the progress, and report the results of both automated and manual test efforts by fostering transparency and accountability.
  • Capacity to learn new skills quickly and adopt effective testing methodologies to improve the software testing process.

Preferred Skills
  • 1+ Year Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins)
  • Experience testing cloud migration applications is a plus.

Education

Generally requires a BS Degree in an IT or business field or equivalent work experience
