Description Robert Half is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual in the Santa Barbara area for a Credit Clerk position. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the credit department by handling basic credit tasks, cash allocations, and scanning documents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Your responsibilities:
Help out other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks
Oversee various office files and provide general office filing support
Route all incoming phone calls to the appropriate individuals
Create a welcoming environment for visitors

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic spreadsheet tasks
Scan and organize documents related to credit applications, customer correspondence, and financial transactions
Requirements
Requirements for the role:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Accounting
1 or more years of experience handling multi-line phone systems
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Strong customer service and office administrative skills
Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with document management systems and scanning equipment
Proactive approach to tasks and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
