- Recognize responsibility for helping individuals develop and integrate the mission and values of the Health System into their practice, as well as the behavior expected of their role.
- Effectively communicate the patient care related information system needs of the organization. to promote positive collaboration and communication.
- Develop collegial working relationships with colleagues, providers, clinical and business office personnel to promote teamwork and high quality service. Acts as a communication liaison between end users, providers, and the team.
- Provide implementation, upgrade and ongoing support for end users and Providers.
- Serves as a resource to assigned departments.
- Supports providers to help to ensure successful use of the EHR and other IT systems.
- Collaborate with the ID and the IT Training Coordinator to help to ensure accurate classroom attendance and End User Proficiency Assessment completion data is collected.
- Help to ensure readiness of training rooms, devices, and materials for classroom training.
- Successful completion of Credentialing Program, a six week long course provided by the client.
- Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR). Exposure to information systems, policies, and procedures.
- Proficient understanding of IT, medical or business terminology.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Knowledge of current health system IT, patient care and business office practices.
- Previous experience with Epic system.
- Previous Epic system credentialing.
