A new restaurant in SB/Goleta is in search of an EXPERIENCED (mid-level; senior-level) GENERAL MANAGER. Position is Full-Time and receives competitive / generous pay. Start date is ASAP.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop key performance goals and manage the performance of the staff
Create and implement strategies for business growth
Manage the recruitment, hiring and training processes
Work closely with external & internal vendors, contractors, and other staff to improve efficiency and performance
Improve internal processes for better productivity
Overse the budget & monitoring the financial health, in collaboration with other senior staff
Implement ongoing trainings; work directly with staff to help them learn and feel comfortable in approaching others for advice, handling conflicting situations, and presenting a warm, welcoming, knowledgable, aura
Meet & greet guests; help staff & kitchen; help bar
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years in a management role, preferably in a restaurant or bar or hotel
Management of 15+ indivduals
Willingness to learn, be adaptable, and easy going
Multi-tasking, organization, and high attention to detail are your strengths
Have a positive attitude; lead with kindness and authenticity
Provide a warm, welcoming, fun atmosphere — smiling & conversation goes a long way!
Ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and be adaptable
Must be very collaborative, empathic, and approachable leader
knowledge of POS a plus
Fluent in English; knowledge of some Spanish a plus
NOTE: Must be 21+ and have 2-3 years prior in a similar role. Ideally, you can begin ASAP.
